If you like our offer, you'll just need to pack and ship the books to our PO Box address. Once they arrive, we'll look them over and issue a Credit (In the form of a Gift Certificate) to your Audiobooks account upon your acceptance.
Keep in mind:
- All quotes are subject to the condition of the books when they arrive.
- We offer credit (not cash) for audio books we buy online.
- Shipping will be paid by us within reason and at the actual cost to ship them.
- Online quotes may not reflect what we will purchase directly in person.
- There will be books we will not purchase due to already having quantities of them in stock or their salability.
Good Condition:
- No rips, tears, stains, or odors. We may consider audio books with minor rips or tears to the boxes.
- No writing or highlighting with the exception of an owner's name.
- No ex-library or book club editions.
- Audio Books must be in good working order and with original box/case.
You must mention if the audio book skips or that listening to it is in any way affected. Please consider the next person who may listen to your audio book.
ISBN
The International Standard Book Number (ISBN) is a ten-digit code assigned to books published after 1972 or a thirteen-digit code assigned to books published after 2006.
Each ISBN is unique to a specific edition. A different ISBN is assigned to hardcover, paperback and audio book versions of the same title, as well as later editions with changes or additional content or editions produced by different publishers.
You'll generally find the ISBN printed over the bar code on the book's back cover or on the copyright page.
Credit (In the form of a Gift Certificate) - We will place the credit into your Audiobooks account and you will receive a Gift Certificate via email. It can be used for any purchase(s) made on New Zealand's Audio Bookstore web site only and remains valid till spent.
By Appointment - If you have a large collection of audio books and would like to schedule an appointment, simply email us a list to shop@audiobooks.co.nz or via our Contact Us page. In your email, please include your name, general location, and a phone number if possible, so we can offer you the best service. Visiting you will depend on your location.
